Good ventilation in any house / building is a must. It’s a feature essential to maintain a healthy lifestyle for an individual. While you might spend tens and thousands on the architecture of your house to have proper ventilation, nothing beats natural trees in giving us fresh air. According to NASA, these 10 plants are oxygen bombs.

While the moment we step out of the house, all the polluted air from vehicles and factories gets to us, we expect a fresh breath of air when we come home. Well, you can open windows, but if you live in the city or in an apartment, that option is out. Air purifiers are there but they aren’t cost effective. So, why not have one of these plants in your place? Not only do they give you fresh air, they are free too.

The research NASA conducted along with the Associated Landscape Contractors of America (ALCA) published a list of air-filtering plants.they found that several plants were able to remove considerable amounts of benzene, formaldehyde and trichloroethylene from air. If you want these plants to effectively purify your air, you need to keep at least one of the recommended plants in every 100 sq feet.

Just to remind you, polluted air can cause asthma, decreased lung capacity, and short lifespan. So, have these plants at your house. Just as they give you clean fresh air, attending to plants can relieve your stress too.
